Pigs Might Fly

We are fortunate enough to live in a beautiful part of the world. The climate is nearly always ideal, the natural attributes are stunning. We have clean air, crystal clear water, amazing produce. We have all the benefits of living in the city, without the crowds, the crime and the pollution.

There are a number of celebrities who live in the area and a good number of those are Chem-Dry Far North Coast customers. Now we treat our customers and their privacy with the utmost respect. Sometimes though, something extraordinary happens and I can give you the basics without revealing any names or locations.

So we were called out to this house, the address and name on the booking didn’t ring any bells. The job sheet had the details as the customer had had their vehicle detailed but the detailing had failed to remove the cat urine or the smell of the cat urine from the back seat of the car.

Urine (pet or human) will crystalise as it dries, so it is necessary to return it to a liquid form before it can be extracted efficiently. However, back to our celebrity. We arrived at the house and there was a massive gate, we tried the intercom to no avail, so we rang the guy who had booked the job. All no problem he said, he’ll have the nanny come and open the gate for us and show us what needs to be done.

We got into the property and nanny showed us the vehicle. We were talking to her about the job, getting some more details of where the urine was, what they’d tried to do to clean it up already etc. During the course of the conversation, it became clear that the cat was in fact a pig, which they had decided to take for a ride in the back of the car. As you do.
